WIN Tickets to The Baby Show

The Baby Show is back again, taking place at the ASB Showgrounds from 18 – 20 August 2017 – and I can’t wait. I went last year – and even though I was 5 months pregnant I really had NO CLUE about what to look for and buy. Friends of mine went super prepared and got great deals on buggies and capsules and cots…whereas I kind of wandered aimlessly and bought skin care (for myself), a magazine subscription (for myself), and a lovely book (for myself). To be fair, I did also buy a baby bath that I still use every day and love (the Schnuggle) and a really good breast pump (the Unimom) which I have a love/hate relationship with.

Stella 6 months old

And now I have a 6 month old – how much has changed in a year!

Whatever your stage in pregnancy or babyhood, The Baby Show has all your parental needs covered – everything from pregnancy care and maternity clothes, right through to helpful talks from parenting and early childhood experts. It’s these talks that I am particularly looking forward to this year – I’m hoping to catch Dr Julie Bhosale talking about starting solids (and pick up a copy of her new book, The Nourished Baby), and also the seminar titled “how to teach your baby to sleep through the night” sounds like a REALLY good one.

The Baby Show has over 230 exhibitors so I think I need to plan my attack – this year I know what is a good deal and have more of an idea of what I need, so I will be making a beeline for the stalls that sell those things. On my list are an umbrella stroller, a travel and lightweight portacot, and some safety items – Stella is literally days from crawling!

Baby Show Hamper

I’m super excited to have another amazing Baby Show hamper to give away to you guys – it’s valued at $200 and packed with goodies from exhibitors at the show. AND it includes a double pass for The Baby Show so you can head along and check it out for yourself (don’t forget your partner to help carry everything to the car!).

All you need to do to enter is leave me a comment below telling me what you are looking to buy at The Baby Show this year?
